Who am I??

I’m there when you endure pain..
I’m with you when you get to know that you are going to be a proud parent…
I’m again with you when your child performs outstandingly in the football game.
I’m that special friend of the bride who accompanies her to her new world, and in me she carries all her memories and hopes for the new life ahead..
I’m there with every son when he makes his parents proud
I’m with grandma when she remembers her youth
I’m there with grandpa when he remembers his ancestral home as against the congested flat he is living in now…
I’m with all the naughty brats who get a resounding spanking for all the pranks they play.
I’m with the mother in her effort to bring a new life into this world
I’m there with all the frustrated unemployed youth in their quest for bread
I’m there with the prostitute who puts a price for her body, but loses her soul
I’m there with an anxious dad at the airport, who longs to see his son after a long hiatus
I’m there with those unfortunate ones who are starved, of food and of love

I’m there with the rich and with the poor
I’m there with the old and with the young..

I roll down silently, as silently as death…Not a whisper, not a sniff…I bring out the pain endured by the soul…I’m compared with a pearl as I’m precious…
I am a tear drop.

Abt being a literary genius, I feel there are better ppl out there who actually deserve that praise much more than I do..Please dont mistake me, but I cud smell an overdose of flattery...

Thanks a lot megha
I know, being a woman is pretty tough.Right from childhood they have to make compromises. They can't enjoy life like we boys do.Freedom is so much curtailed(I was reminded of your 20 something post).Despite all this, the responisibilities they take in life is far more than men can even think of.
I am little unlucky in the sense having only known one woman(my mom) closely..Probably the only thing I can do would be to give my lady a wonderful life but that would still
be less than how much she will beautify my life..
Now am i sounding too emotional?..ehh let it be..my salute and deep bow to every woman..

Six more things
1.Don't be scared.Mumbai train have a separate ladies compartment
2.Hyderabad is much safer than Banglore
3.The girls in 60s (I mean the granys)just love me too much..
4.That lift girl was not beautiful
5.I am desperately awaiting your post and
6.I won't give any girl link to that book(I don't wana die bachelor -:))

Hi Megha,

That was a good one. I see that, like me, you are also in a desert waiting for the Oasis. Hmm, if I was really lost in a desert, I may shed a tear when I find an Oasis (not a mirage!). See, I contributed a line for expanding your poem. The comments and responses obviously mean you have a close circle of friends who also blog. My friends, on the other hand, hrrrumphh, ask me why I blog!

Don't worry - I am not a girl and therefore you won't die a bachelor.

Hi..It's been a lot time, since u visited my blog..Alas!! I don't have any thing substantially stimulating to offer u.

Thanks for the addition to the tear list..It was a gud one..

And my close friends dont follow the "B" of blogging...I have to beg, plead and sometimes worse, bribe, them to read the stuff I put up on my blog. My tale of woe is already there in my post "Different Strokes for Different Folks"..Do read it when u find the time..

All the generous ppl who take the pain to read my posts and even better, comment on them, are all friends from the blog-o-sphere...So, not to worry, I'm one person who will read what u write.

Oh!! Btw, if u happen to convince/bribe jitesh aka "forgetful functor" for that book...Do tell me, I wud do anyhting for a sneak peek. ;-)

Firstly, welcome to my blog...Glad u dropped by..Shall return the favour shortly...

Hmm...A pretty paradoxial name u have out there..."Wise" and yet a "donkey"..(Statement subject to the assumption that all donkeys are dumb..Probably a prejudiced point of view..I have nothing against that poor species)

Glad to know that we share a similar liking to books...Nice.

And many thanks for the generous amount of "wow's" u have provided.

Hmm see ppl have already sidelined me as just another (useless) guy from blog-o-sphere.They won't even reckon me if I give away that book.-;)

Now if u want that,u have to prove u are one of those frustrated men who need salvation from the maya called "woman".Sadly your blog despite being excellent prove otherwise.-:)

@ForgetfulFunctor

Do not be deceived by appearances. Some of us live in "The Matrix." Our better halfs (or is it halves? I always get confused!) monitor our offline and online lives (whatever lives we lead).

Compared to women, maya is actually simple - there have been saints and others who have pierced the veil of maya, but there has been no man who has claimed to understand women.

Please have some pity on a member of the same sub-species. I will rebel against women by reading your books (at least till it is banned).

"I will rebel against women by reading your books "
Gosh!! Don't u think rebel is too strong a word.

Hey!! we r not all that difficult to understand...I do agree however, that we have a complex thinking structure...but we have our own reasons for that and we can justify them too...Not as complicated as maya.

@FF
Hey!! Plz give me that book...See a one sided agrument or a singly weighted thought process carries no importance. If u make the book available only for ur sub-species, u r likely to have a prejudiced perspective of things..On the other hand, if u include the opposite sex in ur reader's list, u cud b blessed with deeper insights in life...
